Customer Service Advisor (Full-time)

£18,500 – £19,500 a year – Full-time, Permanent
Forest Sofa Ltd is a well-established and growing UK upholstery manufacturer looking for a
confident, experienced person to join our retail sales team with proven history of providing
excellent customer service.
Working on behalf of our three retail brands which offer a range of sofas, sofa beds and
beds for sale direct to the public and selected retailers you will handle multiple customers
at the same time and ensure customer experience is at the heart of all your
communications.

The role of Customer Service Advisor will include the following duties:
CUSTOMER SUPPORT DUTIES

• Helping the team ensure every call is answered you’ll deal with both inbound and
outbound calls, ensuring each customer has a great experience
• Contacting our customers for feedback on their experience and encourage review
conversion.
• Helping customers in our showroom
• Entering online orders and any orders taken personally in the showroom/over the
phone.
• Any other miscellaneous duties as and when required

ADMINISTRATION
• Update the live orders sheet weekly with production updates
• Collate orders onto loads and print relevant paperwork to be sent down into the
factory
• Create stock control codes as and when required (training provided on bespoke
software)
• Printing delivery notes and manifests relating to completed orders.
• Collecting balance payments for orders.
• To liaise with carriers and book transport.
• To work pro-actively to improve the service provided from order entry to post sales,
in support of the wider sales team.

·Proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Word and Excel
·Previous experience with Sage200 desirable, but not essential.
·Good time management
·Ability to work to targets but ensure customer experience is your primary focus
Typical full time working hours are 37 hours per week:
·Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
·Friday – 8:30am – 1:30pm.
